Austria: Hotel Market 2021

Now in October 2021, we can look back to a very positive summer season in the Austrian hotel market.

Tourism in Austria has been heavily affected by the pandemic but thanks to Austria’s influential history, rich culture and fascinating landscapes, the country was able to attract domestic travellers and guests from neighbouring countries.

Corporate and international congress business will remain in the ‘back seat’ which is affecting mainly city hotels, mostly in Vienna.
