Andrea Jörger, a graduate of the renowned EHL in Lausanne, is Managing Partner of Horwath HTL Switzerland. His expertise lies in the areas of project development, operator selection, transaction consulting and asset management. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Andrea has over 20 years of management and corporate experience as a General Manager in the luxury hotel industry, with broad project and marketing experience in services and real estate. Andrea was the overall project manager of the real estate project 'The Circle' at Zurich Airport for four years. With 'The Circle', Zurich Airport developed a traffic hub to a commercial centre and a new business destination, which includes a service centre with a usable area of 180,000 m2 and an investment volume of over CHF 1 billion was created.
Andrea worked for several years as a consultant with a focus on the development of mixed-use real estate and, in particular, hotel projects. From 2016 to 2022, Andrea was Managing Director of the Swiss office with four operations of a well-known hotel group based in Hamburg, the last two years of which were spent as Chief Development Officer responsible for development in Europe.
Andrea has furthered his education in the field of real estate and has served on various executive boards and boards of directors. He teaches at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, at the Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ on hotel development, and is a lecturer at the EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality.
